Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a project take?
Projects usually kick off 3-4 weeks after the contract is signed. During that time, prep work is done & clients complete their Website Planning Workbook so we are ready to hit the ground running on our start date! Once we begin, your web site will be ready to launch in 4-6 weeks.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! All projects require a 25% non-refundable deposit. Then, you can choose to pay in full, or spread your payments out over 3 or 6 months.
I just need edits to my existing site. Do you offer that service?
If you already have an existing web site and just need a designer’s touch to make it your own, I offer a Site Refresh package, which is like a mini-makeover for your site. We work with your current template and make design tweaks & edits to bring it in line with your brand vision.
How soon can we get started?
I book out 4 weeks in advance, usually. It’s the perfect amount of time for you to complete your Website Planning Workbook and gather all your copy and assets before we start!
What do I need to supply for website design?
The client is responsible for purchasing template and for the cost of their domain hosting, as well as any paid plug-ins that are agreed upon and used. Additionally, the client provides all the copy for the website and images, unless adding on my copywriting and/or image sourcing additional services.

one.
free consultation
Our first step together is to connect for a free, 30 minute consultation call. We can talk about your business, what you are looking for, and how I can help you. After our call, I will put together a proposal for you to consider and review.

presentation
Once design is complete, I will present your new site to you for review, and we will meet to go through the site page by page. You’ll be able to see how your new site will look, experience the flow of Calls to Action, and see how the plug-ins function.
two.
sign, book & prep
If you’d like to move forward, I will send over an invoice and we will select a start date. In the meantime, you will complete your Website Workbook and receive an invite to your Client Portal. I will conduct any market research needed before our start date.
six.
revisions
After carefully reviewing your new site, you can request revisions if necessary to hone in on exactly your vision. Two rounds of revisions are included, and your feedback as the business owner is vital!
three.
start date
On our official start date, we will have a 90 minute strategy call to review your Workbook. Together we will collaborate on the design of your custom website that perfectly marries beautiful aesthetics & smart functionality tailored to your ideal customers.
seven.
soft launch
At this stage the design portion is complete and we will test all plug-ins and other functionality. If you have a store as part of your website, we will run test orders. Any final updates or revisions will be made at this point.

designing begins
I’ll get to start designing your new website based on everything we have discussed, my research, and your special requests to make your site unique & memorable. I will use all the assets provided in the Website Workbook.

Launch day!
YES the best day! On launch day we will remove the Coming Soon Page and activate your site – congrats! You are open for business. I’ll be available for 30 days post-launch to help with any technical issues that may arise.
